Does anyone know what this is?

This item was recovered from Germany after WWII along with a large amount of chemical weapons.
It is believed to be CW related, but that's about as much as is known about it.

It's around 40cm high and appears to have sat on a wooden base.

Can anyone identify what it is?

German bounding AT mine. Don't remember the nomenclature off hand. It is in several of the books. MTM should have one, take a look next time you get there.
