Dopp Z96 Trench Art with a little history..

Hi All

I recently picked up this piece of trench art whilst at a military fair in Brecon. As you can see its the top of a Dopp Z96 n/a but written on the base in ink is the following, "Piece of ruined church (roof) at Elverdine He Belgium. Nose of a German Shell" Im guessing the place is Elverdinghe just north west of Ypres and like so many towns and villages in that area its church was destroyed during the war. I thought it was good to get a little history with the fuze and thought you may like to see it, cheers
