I may have seen one, can any one provide a clear image of one.
Unmarked cast iron with a loop at one end, very heavy - raised sides.
Here are commercial civil examples. The one I saw is similar the the one on the right if it had deeper sides and if the link is rotated to horizontal.
Wagons used these to go down steep slopes.
