An interesting CGI supported documentary https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8676618/ which alleges that (purely technically) US Navy has opened fire on a midget Japanese sub about an hour before main Pearl Harbor attack, therefore commiting an act of war. This is not just an empty historical exercise, this is a warning about something happening near Kaliningrad (formerly Königsberg) presently.

There's a whole series of these documentaries. Very interesting too. Regarding the Japanese midget sub at Pearl, it's interesting that for many years the US Navy denied they had sunk a sub, despite the gunners saying they had put a shell through the small conning tower. That's history for you!
