Drill Practice projectile identification

152mm diameter (5.98"), 23 inches long. A 6 inch type drill round ~
But whose and when (looks ww2 from the boat tail shape)

According to DA PAM 310-4, there are 3 manuals about 6-inch guns :
TM 9-424 6-inch Seacoast Materiel: Gun M1900 Mounted on Barbette Carriage M1900. War Dept. Mar. 1945. 136 p.
TM 9-428 6-inch Seacoast Materiel: Gun M1903A2 and M1905A2; Barbette Carriage M1. War Dept. June 1943. 189 p.
TM 9-429 6-inch Seacoast Materiel: Gun T2 and Barbette Carriages M3 and M4. War Dept. Mar. 1944. 261 p.

The first and second describe the 6-inch dummy projectile 108lb. Mk. 2A1 and does not look like that. I couldn't find the third online. Maybe a lead to follow ?

Are sure it's a 152mm ?
We found exactly the same on ww2 area but for 155mm gun (a variant of 155mm mk1 95lb dummy without groove beneath band), fuzed 45s M1907 Dummy.

I don't have it so I can only pass on what I was told. But from the looks of it it is a ww2 155mm drill projectile.
