Drone wing?

I was walking on the public beach at Freshwater West in Pembrokshire today and spotted this on the beach (close to Dobby's grave for Harry Potter fans).
Its very light, polystyrene inner with possible carbon fibre outer. A couple of wires coming from inside that clearly link to a motor to control the flaps that would move up and down.
In view of the fact its less than a mile from Cartlemartin firing range I'm wondering if its off a military drone that's gone bang, if so which sort..........or did someone just have a real bad day with their model aircaft?
No markings.
Thoughts anyone?
Dave.
