Early 2 Pounder AT case with interesting markings

I saw this for sale at a car boot sale a couple of weekends ago. Sorry for the poor quality photo as it was taken in direct sunlight. I had to lean over and shade it to get anything to show up.

An early 2 Pounder AT case with a lot of extra stamps. Am I right that the NZ mark is a New Zealand acceptance stamp?

Can anyone provide any more information on the charge markings?

I didn't buy this case as it had been shortened to 5 inches length. However, this was very neatly done using to exactly 5 inches using a lathe. I did wonder if it had been done officially for some reason.

Thanks for any info
