Early SC50

Aquired for my Museum is this pre blitz 50 kg.

Basically very rusty but first stages are to de rust and prime so we know how far to go
with the metalwork.
small history with this is that it was defused and emptied at the time and then
abandoned in situe.
This was still in a back garden nestling within a tree stump.
Totally Inert and safe.

I wish I'd never let the SC50 I could have had, slip through my fingers.

I look forward to further installments of this project mate!
 
Thanks for that They do come and go but may have a later SC50 going up for sale in a while, later i mean

1939 all cast casing,but let you all know via forum if it does.
 
I would also like to see an update on this one if possible,
