I am not familiar with the program that you suggest.
I use Telegram and try to get every one to use it, fantastic app and an application for the desktop to boot. You can sent unlimited file sizes, you can talk or write. You can delete already sent and read messages, even on the recipients mobile pone or PC.
As a supplement I use SIGNAL for all my SMS.
So far only one member here, that I know of, has and use Telegram on a regular basis.
