Can anyone please identify this shell, my neighbour cleaned out her bathroom?!? prior to new carpets being laid...did I wan't it. :woohoo:

The green paint remnants indicate smoke round,,but other than that ive no idea,i have seen these before when on a clearance job when i first started but cannot remember what they are from..be interested myself to know what they are

Thanks, guys...yup found something similar on specialist auctions.
105mm smoke base ejection round.
Full story, came out of a tank target on salisbury plain and was used as a door stop.
Funny old world :laugh:
 
Hello Harry,,are these an older type 105 as they are different to the ones we normally find,which dont have the large aluminum ? front end

L92 nose cone, I will look for a cutaway diagram, I'm sure there must be some bits of its workings still in the existing part.
