A cut down ex 6 pdr case. I presume it has been cut down even more as at 2
inches with the primer longer than the case I'm rather suspicious~

A/S =Anti Submarine,definitely looks to be cut down,not too sure on the correct length.

I'm sure it would have been a cut down 6 pr case to start, but I think somebody had ashtray in mind and shortened it further. If any one has a proper one out there and you are missing the primer. I didn't keep the case but I kept the primer, dated 53 - too new for me !

I have one at 152mm long and dont think its cut down, has primer no. 32. II N

The one I put up was formerly a full length Hotchkiss 6 pr case. But at 2 inches long it was again shortened. Yours at 6 inches is likely all good. Here is the primer from it.
