Another drawing that I thought might be of interest to the grenade guru's. This one has a 1936 date.

Great drawing, Very complex, with holders, pellets, washers, discs, paper wads rolled with flour paste, paraffin coated maple hardwood plug, etc.

Much too expensive probably, too many parts and also time consuming it looks like. No wonder they went with a small bag of black powder and a cork.

Thanks for sharing this, very interesting to see.

Regards, Steve

I was just wondering where the drawing came from
I have a nearly complete set of inspection/manufactures manuals
done in large format
the drawing looks very much like whats in the manuals

The drawing is of the same type as those you talk about. I have about 6 or 7 of those books and generally speaking they are newer than the ones I got this drawing from. I have no doubt close to 6,000 or more of these drawings, but many of them are unreadable at this point. I am slowly trying to index them so they will do me some good when I try and find something. When I find something of interest I try and post it for all to see. Keeps me off the streets a night.
