Explosion at Russian munitions facility

Knowing them I wonder why they sent MBTs to the site. Quite unusual... or something else had happened.
 
Looking at the cloud it looks like somthing atomic had been set off.
 
have seen ASPs go up before, but this vid appears to show one large detonation, not followed by multiple smaller detonations. It actually reminds me of the accident near Reno Nevada when the AP plant blew up or one large demil shot. I personally think there is more to the storey
