Can someone help me with the markings on this grenade? The 31 is on the side, and then the stuff on the base as well.

Hi Joe,

I guess 31 is a polish manufacturer ?

CWICZ means "Practice" in Polish.

Geert.

Polish F1-Ćwiczebny ("practice")
As far as I know 31 is the factory code (former factory "MIFAMA Mikołow")

Funny ... as many times as I looked at that picture I never saw the CWICZ ... just lettering.
I was also guessing the 31 was the factory.

Thanks everyone ... just trying to confirm what I thought.

Joe
