F-1 Practice Grenade

Hi Joe,

Yes, PK stands for Perchlorate de potatassium (PK), in this XF1, it's a 3 gr charge.

On older practice grenades (like the GR MA OF X 37 - Grenade a Main Offensive d'exercice Mle 37) you can find PN (meaning Pouder Noir - Black Powder)

Hi,


PK stands for potassium-perchlorate, with aluminium. It's the charge ('charge d'éclatement' on the picture below).
The lest ('chargement' on the picture below) is made of sulphate of baryta, carbonate of lime, and talc (not sure of the google translations !)
