F-1 with odd fuze

looks like a fake - doesn't look sprung/functional. saying that i have a Chinese-manufactured prac F1 supposedly captured from Egypt by the Israelis with a solid 'fuze' assembly that appears to be original to it, not like the one in pic though.

Hi,
As the mug that bought it, I can confirm it is definitely a fake! The striker mechanism is simply a metal bolt that runs through the whole length of the grenade. The lever took some effort to manufacture and it seems that somebody is actively making fake F1's.
Having said that, I bought an F1 with a sectioned Romanian fuze mechanism from eGun the week before so you win some, lose some...

Thanks, Gary!
I was thinking of some sort of fake fuze for drill grenades. So even though it is total fake, it might well be actual military issue. Or was this fuze put together with us collectors in mind?

i would guess the fuzes were knocked up to finish off a load of gren bodies to sell as souvenirs - doubt many collectors would think it genuine
