F1 training fuse?

Well-Known Member
This fuse came with a Chinese made F1 brought back by a kiwi vet from Vietnam, I have seen sever more for sale as training fuses. It might be is a post war reproduction. The thread isn't quite right and it is 1 solid piece, a second opinion would be great.

Odd but possible, the Russians for example made similar dummies with welded levers and lathe turned solid fuze bodies. As the nature of similar dummies is it will be very hard to find out the details or if it is legit or just a commercial souvenir (which might have existed back then already).
Are there any markings on the grenade body?

yes there is 130 stamped at the top of the grenade and on the base there are several Chinese letters and the numbers 4-62-32

yes its similar to a Chinese-produced training F1 I have (supposedly captured from Egyptian forces by Israelis in 1967 or 73 war)

Baton, your ID fits China well as the factory #32 is documented to be a grenade manufacturer.

Panzer, thans for the lot details! Are the markings on the base in color or stencilled? Any chance for an image?

It looks like the 4-62 and lower letter are stenciled on, and the top letters and 32 look like they were applied differently.

Thanks for the image and confirmation, you got a nice item there.

Anybody here who can read the Chinese characters in the designation? Does it say anything about "dummy"?
