I got this 50mm round today but I have not ever seen something like this before. The paiting is for 100% not real, the only markings I have found are on the bottom of the cartrige. The lenght of the whole round is 734mm the cartrige only has a lenght of 490mm. The projectile has a massive body made of steel the cartrige is also steel. Any Idea...???

Interesting item !

The cartridge case has to be for real, as for someone to make one would cost a fortune as a "one off" and it would have be turned from solid material as the draw sets made to "draw" the cases run into thousands.

The projectile does look a bit "iiffy", is there any chance you can get the projectile out of the case and take some close up pictures of both ends and a detailed side shot please??
