Can anybody identify these items. Uncovered during civil engineering work in France recently. Cleared by EOD on site. Helmets included in the photo to give scale
I think I might have answered my own question. The tins are for holding no.3 Grenade detonators. Long shot, but does anybody have a picture of one? It was the tin cylinder no.121 (thanks to Norman & Rick Landers for this info).
