Could I please have an ID on this flare cart. approx. 25mm dia x approx. 98mm lg.

Monogram seems to be E over G or C?

Beveled base.

Hi,
this is a german navy- cartridge from WW1. The color from this signal was green (plain rim = green / half milled rim = white / milled rim = red). E over G is the manufacturer mark from Georg Egestorff, Linden near Hanover.
