Just returned from a break in the Far East whilst I was ther visited the WW11 gun battery on Santosa Island,( For the lads that got the knees brown,"Black a Matti Island"). If any of you get the chance it's well worth a visit.:tinysmile_shy_t:

No did'nt go to Changi but here's a few more pictures must have been hot work servicing these "Beasts" with the temp alays in the 90's, I think they called them the Good Old Days

Yes can be quite sticky and draining in there. Certainlhy wouldn't want to be working the gun in a wool uniform!
