Frag Sleeve to refinish

Got this sleeve in the other day ( grenade is just replica) and thinking its a good candidate for refurb. I've got my EvaporRust ready, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

After A couple of hours in VaporRust bath, brushed it with stiff bristled fingernail brush . Had gone down to hobby shop & picked up can of what was a shade of Enamel about halfway between dark Forrest green & olive drab. Shot it once. Let it dry to touch & hit it again vigorously with brush to take the "just painted " look off a little. Green not really my first choice, but could not find the right color tan. All I have to compare it to are photos off net. Whadda y'all think?
