France ordnance clearance

Hello,

It's my team !

This is a report of the National Archaeological Institute who has done research before building the new Seine-Nord Canal. They worked for 4 years before the passage of bulldozers. Their trench excavation were not deep and yet they called us almost every day! We think we'll have a lot of work when the excavators begin to dig the canal.
But now this very expensive project is stopped due to the crisis.

Cheers.

Who was you then in the film ? Dave

When they bury ordnance and then detonate it, who owns the property where the ordnance is buried?

Hello Hazord,

All the land on the route of the canal was bought by the company that will operate the channel (farmers were expropriated)
They know the problem of explosive and are very happy that we remove dangerous ordnance. So we can destroy in place without problem. Also, these parts of the field will be then excavated.

Regards
