Question? Anyone seen this fuze with this nose portion before? I have seen the flat nose with the screw but never this rounded nose. Any idea what it might be?
Hi Joe, I have seen two other 22/31 1897/1916 fuzes with the pointed nose, unfortunately I have no idea of the concept as to why it was made this way. Possibly a percussion adaptation to make it function as a percussion fuze? Rare in this configuration to say the least....Dano
