French 47mm M34

Hello, I have this 47mm Mle 1934 (47x 139R) which I believe was used in French tanks during WW2, but I cannot find more info about it. Could you tell me which tank/gun used this ammo and what kind of projectile were fitted on it. Last but not least, what's the purpose of having a 8mm longer case neck when the shoulder and the case body are identical to the well known 47x131 Hotchkiss?
