French 47mm projectiles

Pictured is what I think is French 47mm projectile that has definitely seen better days. However, it does interest me as to what it may have once been! I have the impression that a restoration job has been started and then abandoned, the projectile is also pictured against an AP shot for the French Model 1935 tank gun, marked on the base as being made in 1937. Length of the unknown is approx 128mm with distance below the lower driving band 30mm. No markings on the base or elsewhere. No laughing and your comments welcome.

I was able to secure the casing for this round from the UK. However, I had to make my own projectile out of steel and brass as this item is rather rare in the US.
