French 75mm case propellant

Iam working on a sectioned French 75mm shrapnel round ,can anyone tell me how the propellant in the case looked ?Was it sticks tied together like the British 18 pounder or loose chopped pieces ,or bagged ?.Any help,suggestions ,pictures ,diagrams appreciated
