Is the paint correct?

Top : 75mm model 1918 (FA is for Fonte Aciérée = cast steel) - correct paint
Bottom cutaway : 75mm model 1917.

It looks repainted, but what puzzles me is the dates, how can it be made in 1917 and be of a later model: 1918? :stoned:


 
I think it's absolutely repainted, because they just copied the inscription from the manual...
As for the dates, those in the manual are just given as examples anyway, I don't think they thought too much about them making sense.
