Seen this today, can someone please tell me what it was used in, it is brass with No 35 stamped into it, also stamped near the top is Thousands of feet under the number ring?

Hi Ozziammo,
British nose fuze No 35 was used on the 4,5 inch Reconnaissance Flare. It function by pyrotechnic airburst.
