Looks to be French to me Spotter, Strongly resembles some WW1 French fuzes although I assume the '43 date on yours would make yours WWII. Anyway have a look, click link, then on French fuses and scroll down. Dano
You have a second war Italian morter fuze. Afraid I don't have a sectioned drawing or the correct designation to hand but here is a picture with the foil cap off.
Spotters fuze is not French, although it is (almost) identical to the V18, which has a brass body - I don't believe the French made this model in Aluminium. The markings on the fuze are definitely Italian. the Date is marked 1 over 43 (Jan 1943) and although you cannot see it in the picture I suspect there is a star symbol beside the date.
