Hi All-
I was looking at a M48/M51 series fuze and the stamp around the base says 5-44 ACR 72. Am i correct in assuming that 5-44 is May 1944 and the 72 is a lot number and not the year? Is there a certain format the is always used - like MM/YYYY - Manufacturer - Lot number or something similar?
