I have one of these i thought it was a 199 AA Mk4 fuse but looking at it again the 199 has been crossed out, why the change what was it used for ?:laugh:

The 390 was used with carrier rounds including the 3" mortar base eject smoke and illumination,The one in my picture is from a document on 17lb ammunition,ive also found these on 76mm base eject rounds,,hope this helps
