I am currently reading the french Artillery Intelligence Bulletins from WW1 (Bulletin de Renseignement de l'Artillerie, 20 nos from 1917 to 1919).
In no. 9 page 103 (see here : http://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k62451065/f121.image ) there is a report about a gaz grenade similar in shape to the ordinary stick grenade, with a blue "G" painted each side of the hook.
A label with : Gasstielgranaten Bz
Does someone has already hear about these grenades and maybe has a picture ?
