I am trying to help a friend to list countries and calibres using the Gerlich type of approach in SAA. I would appreciate a steer towards references please.

TonyE has pretty well done the UK efforts for me.

Thanks if you can help.

You need to find a copy of Stegmueller's Von Flanschengeschossen und Wolframkern. It was published in 2000, and is not uncommonly found in ammo fairs. As you might have suspected, the text is in German but there is an English summary to each chapter and it is profusely illustrated. The focus is on German developments but there is a chapter on foreign developments as well.
