German 120mm Challenger Tank Stub Case.

Found this at the Malvern Military Convention just before Xmas. Its from modern German Rheinmetal Tank 120mm gun i think same as Challenger. Heasdstamp is as follows-"120x570 DM 10 LOS RH-2-297 BS 965 DM18". Its obviously a combustible case type and has rubber seal around it. Its steel and therefore pretty hefty but i had never seen one prior to this for sale and at a fiver wasnt a bad buy. The DM18 in white stencil denotes a Target Practice projectile, 120x570 is the calibre and case length, DM= Deutschwaffen und Munitionsfabrik, RH= Rheinmetal Germany. Presumably other markings are lot numbers. Regards, Tim.

Thanks very much for letting me know and correcting me on the meaning of the markings "DM" i had no idea it was Deutsch Muster. Thanks again and best regards. Tim.
