German 17 cm Naval shells in the US

Hello,

as far as I remember it seems that there are many german naval "17 cm Sprenggranate L/4,7" in collections in the US. Sadly I was unable to find any of the threads with these shells.

Here is a link to one thread. Very interesting photo, I had seen a document somewhere that they were tested, but this is the first time I have ever seen anything on rounds being shipped back for the purpose of display.
