Here are some pictures of the German Fliegerfaust, This was a 2 cm projectile against plains, the Fliegerfaust weapon was fired from the shoulder and had the same firing system as the panzerfaust, the weapon had four smooth barrels, it could fire 4 times, .DSC06904.jpgDSC06905a.JPGDSC06905b.JPGDSC06907a.JPGDSC06902.JPGDSC06903.JPG

Dave, THE 2 cm Fliegerfaust has no case, Ben
Thanks Ben, this is something that has always confused me.
In one of the De Hek books there is a line drawing of one with a thing that looks like a case but I wasn't sure if it is. Is it part of the weapon that is shown behind the projectile or is the drawing perhaps wrong? See attached.
Thanks.
Dave.

Dave,

There were at least two different types. The diagram you show is of the other design I know of, and we have an example. There are four angled venturi in the base to impart spin. There was also a 3 cm variant.

Regards

TimG

P.S. Haven't forgotten looking you out some data
