GERMAN 20mm PROJECTILES-HYPER VELOCITY TRACE

DM43 = Deutch Modell 43 , German model 43
20K = 20mm kanone ( cannon)
HVAP-T = High Velocity Armour Piercing- Tracer
Rh = manufacurer Rheinmetall

These projectiles are to be placec on 20x139 shellcases

Yes, this projectile has a tungsten carbide core.

BTW: "DM" stands for Deutsches Modell:tinysmile_twink_t:

Last digit "3" in the DM-Number indicates an AP-projectile without a high explosive component. DM63 is a HVAPDS round, for example.

The projectiles finally arrived today the tracer element appears to be live. I think these were designed to ignite after leaving the barrel which is good for the barrel thus giving it more life. The velocity on this 20mm is fast at 3400/3700 fps and with a tungsten carbide penetrater core it will punch a hole through most anything.
