I'm restoring a 1939 3.7 cm flak round and I'm looking for a good solution the neck the brass back down closer to 37mm without damaging the patina. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
i have seen a tool for tapering exhaust pipe joints and it has an internal cone which you may be able to gently reset the neck
any other method, heat, hammering, lathe is going to remove the patina
