German 7.7 cm

Good afternoon, would like to know if anyone can shed some info on this cartridge. Not shortened as it has canulars near top inside.

Hello,

Really not a specialist in cases, but this one could be a 138mm for early 7.7 shrapnel Model 1896.
(short case and no crimp groove)
I heard also about a similar 100mm case for blank fire.
