German 75mm? 1907

Here is a pre-WW I 75mm artillery shell case, It apparently is German made, but Im not sure it is for German military issue or export. The length of the case is 230mm, the mouth is about 75mm. On the base is St at the top, bottom has a five pointed crown and 27 across the center is DEZ 1907 and around the primer pocket is Rh MF 17 DUSSELDORF. See photos for details.
Any information would be appreciated, what it actually is, country of origin, maker, gun or guns it went to.
Thanks in advance.

it is a german strengthened (st) case for the Feldkanone 96 n/a, german military issue as you say. Made by the "Rheinische Metallwaaren und Maschinenfabrik Dsseldorf" (Rh.M.F.) in December 1907, 17th delivery (lot-number). The Crown with 27 is the prussian acceptance stamp.

I'm thinking it is the German 77mm case, since it has the double crimp at the mouth and they are the most common. There are a number of threads about them and projos here on BOCN.
