german 'booby trap' clamp??

Got this at the weekend.
Was the only one in the box with a bit of a bent tail but was the only one with original paint left!
Apparently for clamping german grenades and other ordnance for use as booby traps?
I will be displaying it with the bomblet in the collection.Please correct me if im wrong in doing so!

Yes indeed Spott,that was mentioned by the seller.
He also suggested that they may have been used also for different weapons.
Its a good theory?

In my opinion your composition is right, this tool used with this SD bomb for tripwire mine, but it used with pull fuzes (ZZ35, ZuZZ35, ZZ42).

Cheers John on the correct fuze ident.
I did have it displayed with a AN23 and you lot went nuts!
Shall put a correct one in tomorrow.
