German drifting river mine

I don't post here because I can't collect ammo anymore in my country ( France )....
But I found those interesting drawings of a german drifting river mine. I found it in a nice detailed deluxe book about french pioneer's operations in Italy.
Those mines were intended to destroy built pioneer bridges while drifting in the Garigliano river. Not very efficient. Almost prototypes.
Thus I don't think you will ever find one !

There were also three models of aircraft-delivered Bombenminen (BM) with similar function:
* BM 1000 F: A special "anti-powerplant" driftmine developed for use on the eastern front, designed to be dropped up-stream and drift into and destroy the waterintake of the plant.
* "Winterballoon": A similar "anti-powerplant" driftmine, but winterized to handle icecovered areas (penetrating and floating under the ice). It was based on the Sprengbombe Cylindrisch 1000 L (SC 1000 L).
* "Wasserballoon": Another specialized driftmine for use in major rivers to destroy bridges. It was based on the incendiary Flammbombe Cylindrisch 250 (Flam C 250).

The "Winterballoon" was operational, but not used before the war ended.

Here is a clock from a Drifting Mine, GL, wch, the label says, was recovered from the Seine-orival(?) Bridge, 17/9/44, by 6234(?) BDF. The rest of the label is very difficult to decipher.
Apologies for the rubbish quality of the pics - I am the world's worst cameraman.

There is a K.Tr.Mi.41 with it’s original box on display at the Warmuseum Overloon in the Netherlands. It is part of the extensive WW2 ordnance collection of member Fjordhouse. It is worthwhile visiting this museum when visiting the Netherlands.
