German Model M39 "Egg" Hand Grenade.

My new M39 German Eihandgranate.

Early smooth version without the carrying ring.

Two BZE Igniting fuzes, relic and clean ones.

Blue cap means - 4.5 Seconds delay time which is Standard.

My M39 Grenade is inert and totally safe.

Thanks Dano, I've always wanted one of these, but never seemed to get one in this decent condition.

Delighted with the M39.

I picked up this one today, the fuze is a bit gone but the body isn't in bad shape.

This type of fuses was maked in Austia If I good remmember.I had seen hole boxes with this fuses and also bodies of eggs.

Yes, that fuze is not the one I got with the grenade, that's just for show.
Below is the one with it.
