German red ring

As I was searching in Bocn archives I found an old thread about a german 2cm with red tip : http://www.bocn.co.uk/vbforum/threads/38055-German-20mm

Does anyone could confirm the red nose is for a torpical round ?

According to D435/3 the red tip means red tracer and the red ring above the driving band means tropical round.

Can I not see a faint Ph stamping on the body ?
On close inspection it would appear to be a almost perfect match for the other one.

Yes, german round with WP filling (the round shown is inert and fitted with the wrong fuze)

My mistake,
That would be the reason they appear to be the same round, because they are I thought this was another one you had up for id rather than a image from yhe old thread.
I will crawl back into my cave now...
