Hello,
I only know the name Splitterbombe SD 1, but you find different models on the internet and in books. With and without centering band. Small or large windring around the tail. Rejected bodies of the 5 cm mortar shell, Different diameters of tail threads, Tails screwed in bomb body or clamped. Smooth or pre- grooved inside and of course the French made SD 1 frz with the French and German fuze.
Does anyone know if there are other names used, for example SD 1A or SD 1B model, or something else?
Greetings Antoon
