German smoke or training?

Listed as a smoke, I think it is a training grenade. Images taken at Aberdeen.

5 holes in top / 4 around side

also wanted to show marking in handle and see if anyone can tell me what it means.

Yes, its training, but rare handle and connectors, maybe not German. What mark you dont know: it is 5 1/2 seconds delay, three letters code from maker and the crown maybe the symbol from him.

Thanks ... its a museum piece. I figured the time but was wondering about the crown. Although I guessed it was a manufacturing mark.

Anyway that crown.... it is not an usual German mark and looking the rare handle and connectors..... I think it is not a standard German training.
