Four Great War German grenades in very tidy condition. The nicely varnished one on the left, and at bottom, once belonged to an ex-Mayor of Bootle who had a decent collection! The one at the top, and right, came originally from a Regimental Museum, when I first saw it it still had the paper band to secure the pull string and the top cover, or lid, but this went missing, and by the time I was able to acquire it, it had vanished completely. Does anyone have a spare that I could purchase, pse, preferably in reasonable nick, as the rest of the grenade has original paint etc. I seem to recall that it had tabs that were simply bent down to secure it. Lip to lip is 74mm. across.
