I added interesting file to downloads. I think it would be interesting for a lot of people and in the same time something unknow.
Soviet forces in 1943-45 years captured pretty a lot of german munitions, also bombs. German bombs were using from soviet bombers, but I do not have any official papers about it. Exists few photos, I am sure it was not rare practice.
A lot of SD-1 were using as POMZ-2 mine style or POMZ-37, if compare with mine made of mortar mine. For example, captain Gurevich Lev Isaevich awarded order of the Patriotic War, II degree for collecting 50000 SD-1 and 3000 HE bombs, which used as improvised land-mines.

I have had this for many years always wondered what it was.
It is part of the German drifting river mine K.Tr.Mi. 41 (Kugel-Treibmine 41)
