German 'tragschlaufe'

1937 dated German 300 round carrier for 20x15 round boxes of 7.92mm ammunition.

There was recently a thread about these on another forum. It said that "tragschlaufe" simply meant "open here" in German, but was not easily translated into a literal meaning in English.
 
A picked up a full Case years ago ..have not seen them on the market for a while now

Hi,about this container -Packhulse is correct name of this containers ,i think...My Packhulse looks like this :
